This week a representative delegation of top managers of the largest high-tech companies from Taipei arrived in St. Petersburg.
The visit was organized by the Taiwan Foreign Trade Development Council (TAITRA), whose main task is to strengthen international partnership. The mission was attended by leaders in the production of computers, smartphones and hi-teck components. Among them are ASUS, Giga-byte, Janus Technologies, Advantech, IEI Integration Corp, TTC, Protectlife international biomedical. All these corporations have serious plans for the development of their business in Russia and today are looking for interesting and breakthrough projects to start cooperation and technological exchange.
To explore the IT industry of St. Petersburg, guests from Taipei selected six companies whose solutions are most promising for full integration in the Asian market. Internet retail, blockchain, artificial intelligence, computer vision and, of course, augmented reality technology are in the focus of Taiwanese interests.
IT managers were particularly impressed by the technology stack represented by the Arcona ecosystem. The unexpected concept of building a platform and the universality of its application in various business areas is a guarantee of the success of Arcona in the mass market and the commercial success of the project. Negotiations on various options for cooperation with representatives of Taiwan will continue.
